The story about Flint, Michigan may be one reason some readers are coming to this site and wanting to learn more. “What’s in my water?” This crisis caught my attention and inspired me to study the Flint crisis, and test my own water. At the same time, I was seeing news about the billions of plastic water bottles being dumped into the environment. I wondered about helping others to start testing their own water to learn themselves, if they could stop buying water. After researching the Flint Michigan crisis more closely, I developed my own assessment about the incident, and the truth. Was it the water from the source was bad quality, or was it the condition of the water pipes in individual houses? I’ve seen the data. I’m not a scientist, biologist, water engineer, or politically motivated, but what I learned opened my eyes. Below are some links that I hope will get your brain more involved, a few of the original news stories about the crisis.
